DIGITAL COLLABORATION IN CLASSROOMS
Classrooms are not just rooms; they are the oceans of hope, faith, success, failures, new feelings, a bright future, growth, learning, creating, discussing, fun, jokes, and sometimes seriousness. Do you still remember your first day and your last day of school? Nowadays, our generation and future generations are quite lucky in the case of classrooms, as they are very attractive and have many things to explore. Digital collaboration with classrooms is a significant development. Classrooms are the roots of our future growth and development. If we want to see positive change in our society and nation, we first have to introduce that introduce desirable change in our classrooms. If we want to be modern and digital to go ahead with this world competition. To modernize and digital and keep up with this world competition, we have to introduce students to technology in their learning process. Digital tools ensure that all are students have equal opportunities to participate, reducing self-doubt and increasing self-belief. They can ask their doubts without hesitation or fear, because no question is a silly question, and a question without an answer does not exist.
Yes, I agree that “technology can’t replace great teachers, but technology in the hands of great teachers is transformational.” Technology may have information about the solutions to all possible problems, but it does not have brains. Hence, it lacks common sense. They may know everything, but who will tell them what, when, or where to apply it? Technology has no real-life experience, no feelings, and it can give you many suggestions, but will it be able to give you the one that best suits you? And the answer is no. You can search for anything, but if you are unaware of what to search for? However, we have to compete in this modern world of technology.
Technology can help both teachers and students to be more digitized and advanced. In classrooms, digital collaboration is the need of the hour. With the help of technology, we can use our resources in the best possible manner. Technology reduces time, money, distance, and efforts altogether. Students can access unlimited resources according to their own interests and pace without any force, just by one click. Technology or the internet is now must be included in a necessity for almost everyone. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the internet was the only support system to continue the learning process. Various apps were in top use, including Classplus and Zoom among were in top use. As a result, students were much more interested in their studies due to the new changes, which helped them to learn, discover, and explore in a newer way.
During the pandemic, the educational content search increased multiple times. Students are the owners of the young and creative minds. The technology is adding fuel to the fire, making innovative edutainment: learning with fun. "Any sufficiently advanced technology is equivalent to magic”. Faculty members use PPTs, audio, and video visuals to help and make it easier for students to remember concepts. Smart boards are a tool to simplify complex concepts.
“Technology
integration should not be occasional. It should be an everyday part of
classroom life, like crayons and breathing.” As a result, students are learning more, earning more,
and achieving great heights. All this leads to a better lifestyle and
satisfaction. But there is a but …
While technology offers many benefits, it also reduces focus and concentration levels, and leads to a lack of discipline and a lack of respect for elders, including parents and teachers. Everyone who uses these smart devices acts they are the smartest guys in all over the universe. and the worst thing is that students have started abusing their teachers, treating them with no respect and no value.
Even after teachers work very hard to provide 24/7 support and keep up with new technology, students do not appreciate. Yes, technology made everything for everyone so easy! Effortless! Accessible! Comfortable! However, technology cannot compete with humans and cannot surpass them. Technology’s impact depends on how we choose to integrate it into our lives and education. It can raise our nation's status on an international level.
Furthermore, the integration of technology in education is supported by
the idea that technology is a gift from God, which can elevate our nation's
status on an international level.
“Technology
is a gift from God. After the reward of life, it is possibly the greatest of
God’s gifts. It is the mother of civilizations, of art, and of sciences.”
